Unsettled weather halts racing on Day 3 of the iQFOiL Youth & Junior International Games

Another day of unsettled weather and no racing at the iQFOiL International Games Youth & Junior in Torbole, Lake Garda, where light and inconsistent conditions once again kept the fleets ashore.

Despite the best efforts of the Race Committee, the wind never built enough to allow racing, leaving the foils on standby for the third consecutive day. The challenging weather pattern continues to affect Lake Garda Trentino, preventing any meaningful opportunity to resume the regatta schedule.

Attention now turns to tomorrow, Thursday, when conditions are finally expected to stabilize. On Lake Garda, when the sun returns, the famous “Ora” thermal breeze often follows — offering hope for a restart of racing.

With equipment ready and fleets eager to get back on the water, the first possible start is scheduled for 11:00, as sailors and organizers alike keep their fingers crossed for a return to action.
